Hello, and welcome to Letter from Nettle & Quince where I share food stories, recipes, art and inspiration through the seasons, month by month.
I’m a writer and editor now based in London after living in New York for 14 years where I worked as an editor for the illustrated book publisher Phaidon Press. Before that I was in Berlin as a student, it’s the city that forever holds my heart. But I grew up in France, close to Paris, though I’m not completely French.
I write about food that I make at home, for friends and family. It is unfussy, often easy and always seasonal. I write about art and travel, things that inspire me and might interest you, with glints of all the places I carry with me reflected in these pages.
